Before declaration of the three dwarven Thédraeth, the dwarves used Monarchy as a form of leadership. It lasted 3204 years before the system died out and the Thédraeth begun. The monarchy was controlled by a single piece of jewellery, of which each dwarf wanted, the Avir Necklace.
